mass effect 2 review

Since the British academy awards which mass effect  2 won best game biowear’s biggest game has received more and more attention and I have to say after playing the game at least twice i think the game is amazing, for starters the sheer amount you can do unlike mass effect one where the side missions took place on the same deserted wasteland where you drive the Maco around looking for resources in mass effect 2 the macho is gone and so has the original Normandy replaced by another similar vessel but bigger which is also called the Normandy, now the side quests feel more a part of the game where you don’t just do them to level up you do them to expand the story and get a friendlier relationship with your crew.
As well as that the graphics have seen a great improvement now you don’t have ugly looking texture pop in everything is smooth and feels great only drawback is that loading screens tend to take longer especially when you die and have to reload the whole levels graphics again but that isn’t much of a problem.
I won’t spoil the story for you because it would be a crime to give any of it away but I will tell you that it is just as good if not better than mass effect ones, you are working for a company called Cerberus which has a coloured passed thus not many people like commander Shepered any more, you quickly find out that there is a species in the galaxy called the collectors who are abducting humans and your goal is to stop them, it sounds slow and boring but hang in there once the story gets under way it will be brilliant.
Another thing is that if you played mass effect one and haven’t erased your save data then you can input your character and all of their decisions into mass effect 2 to personalise the story, along with that combat had been improved the new cover system works a lot better though it’s not perfect but the guns have much better sounds and the recoil looks realistic but more importantly the guns don’t overheat like in mass effect one instead they have cooling clips making you feel less like Rambo running and gunning your way through a level now you have to look for ammo and even on easy if you don’t scavenge ammo you will run out very quickly.
My final verdict for mass effect 2 is a 9.7 a truly spectacular game just falling a little short with all the loading screens and the fact that much of the extra content is free short missions that the developers could have just put it into the game and it penalises people who don’t have access to the internet, but apart from those things I defiantly recommend buying this game and now that mass effect three is scheduled for this year it’s going to be a bumper year for sci-fi role playing games.
please coment it will give me an idea of what the comunity wants
