Warhammer 40K space marine demo review

Space marine is set to be released on the 9th of September but now you can download the demo which takes you through two short missions fighting. Here is my review of the demo.

The two missions features you (playing as Captain Titus) and two other space marines from your squad, unfortunately for you chaos lovers you only fight orks in the missions. In those two missions you will gain access to some great weapons such as the standard bolter and chainsword but eventually you will get a long range rifle and a grenade launcher and eventually a thunder hammer.

Basically what you do in the two missions is kill orks for ten minutes, now that might sound boring but with the amount of gore and moves you can do especially with the chainsword makes the game fun, also what little we see of the story looks good.

However there are some problems regarding that I encountered some glitches where my allies got stuck in walls and enemy’s didn’t respond to 3 space marines running through their ranks, these can be fixed as it isn’t final, also I liked the idea of to regenerate health you should unleash visual violent death of your foes I found myself constantly looking at my health meaning I didn’t enjoy as much as I should the great attack animations.
Overall this review is pointless so I won’t give it a score as it is free, just get it if you are at all interested in space marine, and if you don’t know if you like it then the demo will let you know if it is for you.
